But first, What is Branding and Website Design?
Many believe that their brand is their logo. And, oh boy how wrong they are. Your brand includes your logo, your colors, your message, who you are selling to, where do you sell your offers, how people feel about your business. So as you can see, your logo is just another part of your brand.
Your branding and website are part of the visual and functional aspects of your company’s online and physical presence. They are part of your brand, they are the image of your company; and having a DIY image, gives to your potential client, that vibe… a DIY vibe.
While branding involves creating a unique name, logo, and identity that distinguishes a company from its competitors; a website professionally designed focuses on developing a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing online platform. Wordy? Basically, is to guide your potential client to buy from you… better?

Why a Strategic Logo Design is Important for a Brand?
Sometimes just the name of the company as a logo is enough. And you might ask, where the strategy in that? In the font. A font has a lot of weigth on the success of a brand.
Your logo serves as the face of your business.
It’s often the first thing potential customers see and can leave a lasting impression. A strategic and well-designed logo can communicate your brand’s values and help build trust and recognition.
How that affects your business?
Just like I said before, a logotype (a logo with words only), can be the best option or the worst. All that depends on the font you use to design it. You can use a trend font, but your logo most likely will look like everyone else’s. That’s where a strategic approach saves you and your business.
A strategic designed logo gives you the power of become visible, outstanding or not. You can go for the free versions, a five dollars logo, but at the end, you get what you pay for. That’s why companies invest in their companies branding. They invest, so people invest in them… yeah?
It’s easy for me to say, just spend the money… but that’s not what I’m saying. What I want you to understand is that investing and spending are two different things. You invest to create ROI, you spend to increase your skills, quality, etc.
Are Logo and Website Design a Startup Cost?
Yes, logo and website design are essential startup costs. But we both know that budgets are thight, especially when we are starting! So, it’s ok that you start with DIY. Allow your business to start creating credibility or create the knowledge of your offers between your potential clients.

How Much Does Branding and Website Design Cost?
We see all kind of costs and budgets. But we also see all kind of designers. Sometimes, the type of design work doesn’t align with our brand, so we look for a different designer.
By that I don’t mean for you to clickbait and have your calls with everyone, but to be selective. Check first if they have their starting costs and that you can actually affort them. I mean… you have had those potential clients, ghosting you the second you answer back…
The cost of branding and website design varies based on the complexity and requirements and the skills your designer has. On average, you can expect to invest anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 individually, or for comprehensive brand identity and website design packages, it can go up, like ours starting at $6,200CA. Or our visual identity and website design starting at $3,800CA.
All depends on your budget and the expertise of your selected designer!
Digital Marketing and Web Design
Today, there are a lot of different ways to marketing. One of them is Digital Marketing, by integrating digital marketing with web design you can maximize your online visibility.
And remember a well-designed website optimized for search engines can drive more traffic and conversions. What does that mean? A strategic and professional web design creates a higher chance for you to be found online. Beside that, remember that there are a lot of things that needs to be done after designing or launching a website.
For that I recommend you to read this Blog Post! How to improve your Website Visibility on Google – Step-by-Step Guide
What’s Digital Marketing?
Ok, now we know that we need to integrate Digital marketing with your website… But What’s digital marketing? It’s kind off simple… Is the online promotion of what you offer. For example, you are sort of doing digital marketing as you post about your business, services and products on social media; on your website; online ads; blog posts; etc.
Why Digital Marketing Matters?
Now that we have an idea of what Digital Marketing is, let’s get into why it matters.
For example, a easy way to measure the success of a post on your Instagram account, you check the Insights and see Views, Likes, Porcetages, etc. That gives you a fair idea of what kind of content brings more people to watch your posts. The same is supposed to happen with Digital Marketing (remember How to improve your Website Visibility on Google – Step-by-Step Guide, you should really check it out!).
Digital Marketing gives to your business measurable results; you can target who receives the ads, what that person is searching online, where are they located; some of them are cost-effective, and help you to know what else to do; and the more defined and strategic it gets the more engagement you will have within your website, and social media accounts.
What are some key components and types of Digital Marketing
Big words coming up! I tried to put a simple explanation of what it is… :
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization): This just means that your content (from the name of the images, the alt description, the copy of your website, titles, subtitles, are working on your favor as they are helping your website to appear within the search engines, a.k.a. Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.
- SEM (Search Engine Marketing), PPC (Pay Per Click): This is when you pay to advertise your website, store, etc online, (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) where you pay only when a user click your ad.
- Social Media Marketing: When you use your prefer plataform to build brand awareness and engage with your audience. Some platforms are: Intagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
- Content Marketing: Pretty much is blog posts, videos, ebooks, this with the goal to attract and retain customers.
- Email Marketing: This one is important. If you have a big followers amount in your socials, try to obtain their email account through a marketing campaign, this will help you to create lead list; and in case of losing your social media account you have the leads list to reach to them. Once you have a lead list you can send targeted, promotional messages to a specific audience.
- Mobile Marketing: This uses text messages and apps to reach users on their phones.
Conclusion
Yes, I know it sounds complicated. But once you are all in, once you have your brand defined, your website professionally and strategically designed it will be easier. Now you can focus on everything else, you can share your website without being embarrassed by it.
